After having spent 10 days in Sydney, the Danish crown princely couple took the plane to Canberra where they were to spend 2 days filled with official activities.

They attended a wreath laying ceremony at the Australian War Memorial.
Then they visited the Australian National University for the signing of agreements between ANU and the University of Copenhagen.
In the evening there was a state dinner hosted by governor-general Michael Jeffrey at Government House.
Mary was in the first stage of her pregnancy with Christian. The news hadn't been made public yet.
