Pregnant Mary was part of a family reunion that took place in Sweden, at the Sofiero castle in Helsingborg.
In 1905 the Swedish crown prince Gustav Adolf and his British born wife princess Margareta moved into the castle. A hundered years later their descendants met up for a reunion. Mary's husband is the grandson of princess Ingrid of Sweden - princess Margareta's daughter.
Together with crown prince Frederik, prince Joachim, queen Margrethe, princess Benedikte & prince Richard von Berleburg, queen Anne Marie & king Constantine of Greece, Mary arrived at 9.45 by Dannebrog at the port of Helsingborg. From there they were driven to Sofiero Slott.
Before noon the entire party had a tour through the rhododendron gardens and the exhibition inside the castle.
After lunch, a group picture was taken in front of the castle.
Then the royal guests took the bus took Helsingborg where they boarded a steam train for an hour long tour through Skåne.
After a refreshment stop at hotel Marina Plaza in Helsingborg, the entire party had dinner on board the Dannebrog. At midnight the Danish royals sailed back to Copenhagen.
