Isabella's christening was a much more private affair than Christian's: she was baptized "at home", at the Fredensborg palace church.
In the morning some of the royal guests arrived at Fredensborg: Victoria of Sweden, Mathilde of Belgium and Haakon & Mette-Marit of Norway.
At 11:30 the ceremony started. It was broadcast live on Danish TV.
Mary wore a new dress by Birgit Hallstein and new Prada pumps.
She also wore new jewellery: a Marianne Dulong diamond, blue and pink sapphire necklace that was a gift from husband Frederik, and a new diamond ring.

Mary said afterwards that they found their inspiration for the name a few weeks before the birth, in a list of names of Danish Royals. Among them was Isabella of Austria and Spain (1501-1526, archduchess of Austria and infanta of Castilla y Aragón, queen of Denmark, Sweden and Norway as the wife of King Christian II. She was the daughter of King Felipe I and Juana la loca and the sister of Emperor Charles V. She was born at Brussels. She served as regent of Denmark in 1520.)

Inside Fredensborg palace, official photos were made by Steen Brogaard.
Photographers saw Mary & Christian outside Kancellihuset, at the time of the reception.

The necklace is made of diamonds and pink and blue sapphires by the Danish jewellery designer Marianne Dulong. The new diamond ring is from the same designer :)
