Caroline Fleming

Baroness Caroline Iuel-Brockdorff was born in 1975, making her 2 years younger than Mary.

She comes from an extremely priviledged home: she grew up at Valdemars Slot on the island of Tåsinge.

Fleming is known as an outgoing, capricious and spontanious character but also knows how to use the media to her benefit. After modelling, she started a tv career. For a couple of years she had her own reality TV show: "Baronessen flytter ind". Now she's the presenter of "Danmark's next Top Model" and a well known media figure, generally referred to in the press as " the TV Baroness".

In her tv show, Caroline said the following about Mary: Crown Princess Mary is a very good friend, a friend who inspires me every day. She is a woman from Tasmania who has had to search to the very bottom of herself to find harmony in her new life in a new country. She has so much love and respect and as friends we have a lot in common. We both have small children, we both lost our mothers early, we have the same sense of humor and we share many hobbies such as skiing and singing karaoke. We laugh all the time and she touches my heart so often. We are both quite soft hearted, besides she is married to a very warm man.

Fleming has three children: Alexander and Jospehine Fleming from British ex-husband Rory Fleming, and Nicolas Bendtner from a short lived relationship with Danish football player Nicklas Bendtner, 13 years her junior.

Mary is godmother to Josephine.

Caroline Fleming spends her time between London and Copenhagen.

On her official Instagram account she promotes herseld as a happy go lucky fashion loving jetsetter, and a caring mother who focuses on harmony, healthy food and yoga:

Caroline is also the one who presented her French friend Marie Cavallier to prince Joachim in the early 2000s.
