Copenhagen Business School Dinner

Crown princess Mary was accompanied by her lady-in-waiting, Caroline Heering when she arrived at 19:00 at the Carlsberg Museum in Valby, Copenhagen.

Mary's new fur lined coat was a gift from Norwegian fur designer Henning Olesen.


She was a guest of honour at the Copenhagen Business School's Welcome Dinner for its International Case Competition.

Mary carried a new Prada purse.

Holidays in Verbier

Mary, Frederik and their two small children Christian (2,5 years) and Isabella (10 months) went on their annual skiing trip to Verbier, Switzerland. They were accompanied by their close friends, Peter & Caroline Heering and their two daughters and by Jeppe & Birgitte Handwerk and their 2 daughters. They had rented a large chalet together. Nannies were with them to look after the children while the parents went skiing.

The press spotted them on numerous occasions.

There was also an official photo session.

When asked by the press if the couple wanted more children, Mary replied "Yes, if we can be so lucky. Children will come, when they come."

Rare Disorders Documentary

Danish court released photos of crown princess Mary, the patron of Sj├Žldne Diagnoser, with Marie (12) & Mads (10), two children with a rare diagnosis who visited Amalienborg for the filming of a documentary.

Their meeting had taken place a month earlier, in January.

The 30 minute docu was aired on the 26th of February 2008.

Crown prince Frederik and crown princess Mary attended the official opening of the brand new theatre building of the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen.

It's situated on the waterfront, at walking distance from Amalienborg palace.

The opening was a red carpet event, broadcast live on Danish TV. The royals were the last of the 600 guests to arrive, around 20:00.

The new building was inaugurated with a 4 hour performance of Shakespeare's "Hamlet".
