24 June 2008

Crown princess Mary started the day with the "sust-DANE-able Architecture" Exhibition at Danish Embassy, situated at 55 Sloane Street.

Afterwards she went to her friend, Søren Jessen's restaurant, "1, Lombard Street" which had been chosen as the venue for a Creative Nation reception.

At 15:00, Mary was present at the British Film Institute for "FILM-X on the Road".

At 18:30, crown princess Mary was joined by princess Benedikte of Denmark for the opening of Vilhelm Hammershøi's exhibition "The Poetry of Silence" at the Royal Academy of Arts.

Among the guests was Michael Palin, who left when the Danish press decided to feature him in their reports.

During this trip to London, Mary told journalists that she would be making a private visit to Australia later in the year.
