Crown prince Frederik, Crown princess Mary and princess Benedikte of Denmark attended the badminton.
Afterwards they talked to the press at the Olympic Village. They were accompanied by Per Thornit. Frederik defended his contested IOC candidature. Untill then he had avoided all critial questions from the press.
