At 8:30 the queen, prince Henrik and the crown prince couple made a walkabout through Nuuk.

At 9:00 the royals attended a church service at Nuuk's Our Saviour's Church.

At 10:10 the queen and her family arrived at 'Landstinget' - Greenland's Parliament, where the law on the Greenland Home Rule was handed over by queen Margrethe to the National assembly chairman.

Also present: Iceland's president Olafur Ragner Grimsson and his wife, Dorrit Moussaieff.

At 12:30 lunch was served at Hans Egede's House.

At 1:55 the Danish roayls attended the presentation of the Cultural Award.

At 18:50 the visit to Greenland's last activity took place: a gala banquet in Katuaq.

Mary wore a new headband by JEWLSCPH. Her brown gown, which she had previously worn to a new year's court, had been slightly altered at the top, taking of the beading.
