In the last week of Mary's summer holidays which were spent at Graasten Slot, the extended Danish royal family attended the christening of prince Henrik at nearby Møgeltønder.
At about 9:00 Mary & Frederik, followed by bodyguards, cycled from Graasten Slot to the Graasten Rideskole for a ride in the woods. The riding school, where the family's horses stay each summer is only a few 100 meters from the castle.
At 17:30 prince Henrik's christening started at Møgeltønder's Slotskirke.
Mary was one of the sponsors of the new prince, along with Marie's brothers Charles Cavallier and Benjamin Grandet, Britt Siesbye and Christian Scherfig.
During the service the crown princely family was helped by nanny Helene.
Mary's new pumps were by Prada.
She was wearing two new diamond and pearl bracelets by Shamballa Jewels.
The ceremony was followed by a reception and party at Schackenborg. Mary and family would spend the night at Joachim's estate en return to Graasten the following day in the afternoon.
