Wedding of princess Nathalie Berleburg & Alexander Johannsmann

Crown prince Frederik & crown princess Mary were guests at the wedding of Frederik's cousin, princess Nathalie von Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg & Alexander Johannsmann at Bad Berleburg, Germany.


The couple arrived around 15:30.

Princess Nathalie wore the veil that once belonged to her great grandmother, Margaret of Connaught/princess Margaretha of Sweden, like Mary had done at her own wedding.

Her wedding dress was designed by Henrik Hviid.

When the speeches were over, Frederik, Pavlos & Nikolaos ​​grabbed the unsuspecting Alexander for a family tradition, and lifted him up while they held the scissors up to his feet. Alexander was alarmed and shouted: "Nicht die Schuhe. Nicht die Schuhe". He had no idea that that they only wanted his socks. But the socks were cut, and so Alexander has really become a member of the family.
