A New Rehabilitation Project + Fredensborg Concert

Six month pregnant crown princess Mary joined her husband, crown prince Frederik when he officially opened a rehabilitation centre for Danish soldiers wounded in action.

The couple and their entourage arrived at 10:00.




The centre was part of Copenhagen's Rigshospitalet.






Caroline Heering acted as Mary's lady-in-waiting. Caroline's own husband, Peter Heering was at the time deployed in Afghanistan.




At 19:00 the crown prince couple and princess Marie joined queen Margrethe II & prince Henrik for a concert and dinner at Fredensborg Palace, offered to a selection of Danish scientists and researchers.



Once again, Caroline Heering was at Mary's side as her lady-in-waiting.






Mary wore a new necklace by Marianne Dulong.





At dinner she was seated next to the rector of Aarhus University.

Sværdet i stenen

6 month pregnant Mary took Christian (nearly 5) & Isabella (3) to see the theatre performance "the Sword in the Stone" at Tivoli in Copenhagen.



They were accompanied by Fritz Schur and by Caroline Heering and her daughters Rosemarie & Emilie.

Mary Fonden: Råd til Livet in Aarhus

Frederik, 5,5 month pregnant Mary and Caroline Heering had spent the night at Marselisborg Slot following their activities in Aarhus the previous day.



At 11:30 they were driven to Nykredit in Aarhus to attend a "Råd til Livet" activity organized by Mary Fonden. Råd til Livet was launched in February 2009 and is supported by one of Mary's patronages, Mødrehjaelpen. Its financial sponsoring comes from Nykredit.


Mary wore a new necklace by JEWLSCPH.



Råd til Livet provides legal counseling and economic advice for women dealing with domestic violence.




Mary's new jacket & blouse were by Heartmade.

Danish Air Force turns 60 + Kunst til de Kongelige

1 October 2010

At 9:00 the crown prince & crown princess arrived at the Airforce Museum in Stauning by helicopter, for a tour of the museum.
















At 11:00 Frederik & Mary were flown by heli to Viborg cathedral for a mass in celebration of the Danish Airforce's 60th anniversary.







An hour later, at 12:00 the service ended and Mary & Frederik were flown by helicopter to Marselisborg Slot.


At 17:35 they were driven to Aarhus to open an exhibition at ARoS on the art used in their own new home at Amalienborg Slot.




Caroline Heering acted as lady-in-waiting.






Mary was 5,5 months pregnant with the twins.





Per Thornit & his wife Ulla were also among the guests.



Mary & Fred spent the night at Marselisborg, without the children, since they had another activity in Aarhus the following day.
