Creative Nation: day 2

From 12:00 to 12:45 crown princess Mary was given a tour by Danish manufacturer of eco-friendly radiators Meinertz at their headquarter on Times Square.


From 17:00 to 17:30 the crown prince coupe joined minister Bendt Bendtsen for the VIP opening of Danish design exhibition "IKON" at a showroom of Bo Concept Furniture.


Mary wore a new dress by Malene Birger. 
Her new pumps were by Miu Miu.






From 18:00 to 21:00 the crown prince couple was at the Culinary Loft in Soho with chef Claus Meyer for the promotion of his new American TV show, "New Scandinavian Cooking".

Creative Nation trip: day 1

18 September 2007

Crown prince Frederik and crown princess Mary started a 4 day official trade visit to New York, to promote Danish companies.


They were accompanied by Minister for Economic Affaires Bendt Bendtsen, by the representatives of 40 Danish companies, and by their own staff: Per Thornit, Mary's lady-in-waiting Caroline Heering and a nanny. 5 month old princess Isabella went with them because she was still being breastfed.

They stayed at the Mandarin Hotel.

Meanwhile John Donaldson, Susan Moody and nanny Mette Hansen cared for prince Christian at home in Denmark.


From 14:00 to 15:00 Mary visited the Bodum homeware showroom.




She wore new earrings and a new ring by Marianne Dulong.



From 16:15 to 17:00 Mary attended a reception at BoBles, an American child interior company that started a cooperation with Danish Citibabes.




From 19:30 to 21:00 the crown prince couple attended a champagne reception at Takashimaya department store, that focused on Danish fashion and design in September 2007.




Mary wore a new top by DAY, Birger et Mikkelsen and a new set of gold and diamond "Ellipse" bracelets by Marianne Dulong.


Mary carried a new Prada purse and a new ring by Marianne Dulong.
