State Visit to Vietnam: Day 4

The royal family left Hanoi for Hue.

Mary & Frederik's only official activity of the day was to attend a rock concert by Danish and Vietnamese bands at 20:00. They were scheduled to be there for a short while but ended up staying for the duration of the gig.

Mary wore a new pair of earrings: the heart & anemone design by Ole Lynggaard, and a new blouse by Diane von Fürstenberg.

Government Banquet for Vietnamese PM

At 19:00 crown prince Frederik and crown princess Mary participated in the Government Banquet for Vietnamese prime minister Nguyen Tan Dung at Christiansborg Slot, as part of a Vietnamese state visit to Denmark.

A month later, the queen, prince Henrik and the crown prince couple would pay a state visit to Vietnam.

Mary wore a new dress by Diane von Furstenberg.

Fri for Mobberi Børnestafetten + Kylie Minogue concert

At 11:00 crown princess Mary and lady-in-waiting Caroline Heering were present at the "Free from Bullying" relay run in Copenhagen's Faelledparken, organized by Red Barnet.

Mary took part in the warming-up, but didn't do the 1 kilometer run.

Mimi Jacobsen said in her speech that it was Mary who had come up with the idea for the "Fri for Mobberi" campaign.

In the evening Frederik, Mary and Julie Mølsgaard went to the Kylie Minogue concert at Copenhagen's Forum.

Mary wore a new dress by Diane von Fürstenberg and new Prada flats.

 

After the concert they met the singer backstage.

Charity Concert

17 February 2007

Crown prince Frederik & his 7 month pregnant wife Mary assisted at a charity concert organized by public TV channel DR1 to raise money for HIV-AIDS projects. The fundraiser was broadcast live from Tivoli.

Mary wore a new dress by Diane von Fürstenberg.

Inside the call center, at about 0:50 in the morning.

Mary was accompanied by her lady-in-waiting, Caroline Heering.

Eighth patronage: Nyreforeningen

Danish Kidney Association received a visit from their new patron, (pregnant) crown princess Mary. She was informed about the working and activities of the organisation.

Mary wore a new wrap dress by Diane von Fürstenberg.
