Hjertebarnfonden Receives Grants

As protector, crown princess Mary attended Hjertebarnfonden's grant presentation at Danfoss Universe in Nordborg.




Afterwards there was time to be with some of the children who suffer from a heart condition.


Tanja Doky accompanied Mary as her lady-in-wiaiting.

Departure from Thailand

During the royal couple's visit to Thailand, the country was in turmoil with massive political protest in Bangkok's streets. On the day of their scheduled departure, the airports were on strike.

However Frederik, Mary and their personal staff were lent a private jet by Danfoss and were able to leave without any bother.

Visit to Thailand: Day 4

At 10:00 Frederik & Mary visited the Siam Society.


Mary wore a new dress by Hugo Boss.



At noon they were treated to a fire extinguishing demonstration on the Chao Praya River by Fire Express and the Bangkok Fire and Rescue Service.





At 18:00 the royal couple were guests of honour at a reception and dinner to mark Danfoss' 20 years in Thailand. Mary wore a new Heartmade dress.

Alsion

From 13:30 to 15:30 queen Margrethe, crown prince Frederik and crown princess Mary visited Sønderborg to inaugurate "Alsion", a new concert and conference centre. The Queen arrived by helicopter while Frederik and Mary took a small plane owned by the Danfoss Company. The wealthy Clausen family who owns Danfoss also funded a large part of Alsion. They're close friends of the royal family.


Mary carried a new Prada handbag.

Opening of Danfoss Universe

Mary's first official activity after the anouncement of her pregnancy was the opening of a scientific experience park with Frederik in Nordborg. The media coverage and public attention was huge.





Also present were Mary's lady-in-waiting countess Victoria Bernstorff-Gyldensteen, prince Joachim and his ex wife countess Alexandra of Frederiksborg. Alexandra's activities would gradually become less.




Mary wore a new Prada suit.



The couple was flown back and forth.
