A Quick Holiday Fix

End of May 2010

Mary & Frederik were part of a bunch of Danish friends who flew to Cannes, France for a jet set, childfree birthday weekend, celebrating Kim Vibe Petersen's 60th birthday.

The billionaire Scanomat owner had rented the luxury yacht Parcifal III for the occasion.

Joining Mary & Fred were Jeppe Handwerk, Julie Mølsgaard and about 30 other guests. They sailed to Cannes and moored in front of the Carlton Hotel, where most of the guests would stay.

In the afternoon the party began and the yacht sailed away from shore. After lunch, speeches and a group photo in matching hats there was live music on deck untill the early hours.

When the party ended most of the guest were sailed to shore, except for Mary & Frederik, who slept onboard.

Around 10:00 the next day it was time for breakfast, before Mary, Frederik and Jeppe Handwerk were driven to Nice airport.

Mary was in the first stage of her third pregnancy, expecting twins. The news hadn't been made public yet.

A Long Hot Summer Holiday

After getting back from Greenland, the summer holidays started for Mary, Frederik & their children, Christian (3,5) & Isabella (2,5).
In the course of the next 6 weeks, the family would be holidaying around Sardinia, in the South of France, at the Cayx estate and at the Graasten estate.

First, paparazzi spotted Fred, Mary & the kids at Porto Cervo, Sardinia aboard the Parsifal III, a luxury yacht owned by Scanomat-boss Kim Vibe-Petersen and his wife Nina. The millionaire couple and their grown up sons Frederik and Sebastian had invited the crown prince couple, Julie Mølsgaard and Birgitte & Jeppe Handwerk with their daughters, Palma & India. They stayed in the area for about 2 weeks.

The Danish set was helped by staff and nannies.

Mary & co were spotted at Pamplonne beach in Ramatuelle, on the French Côte d'Azur. After having lunch at the famous Club 55, they jetted back to the yacht.

Mary, Fred & the children were seen at Cannes train station with Julie Mølsgaard and the Handwerks. They left the Côte d'Azur to continue their summer holidays at the Cayx estate in Cahors.
