Eloise Reedtz-Thott's Christening

Mary was among the guests at Gavnø Castle for the christening of baron Otto and baroness Helle Reedtz-Thott's daughter, Eloise.

She was in the copany of prince Gustav von Berleburg & Carina Axelsson.

Mary wore a new Marni dress and carried a new Chanel purse.

A New Tulip + Kunsten at Redde en Mor

At 10:00 crown princess Mary arrived at Gavnø Slot, home and business of her friend, baroness Helle Reedtz-Thott, for the naming a new tulip, "Kronprinsesse Mary".

At 15:30 her royal highness visited "Art to save a Mother" at the Statens Museum for Kunst in Copenhagen, organized by the Danish Ministry for Development and UNFPA.

Ellen Hillingsø presented the opening.

It was also the day prince Henrik, the first child of princess Marie, was born. Prince Joachim had telephoned Frederik & Mary with the news.

Christening of Holger Reedtz-Thott

A few days after their fortnight in Australia, crown princess Mary and crown prince Frederik were at the chapel of Gavnø Slot in Naestved for the christening of Mary's godson, Holger Reedtz-Thott: the second child of baron Otto Reedtz-Thott and Helle Zøfting.

The ceremony lasted for half an hour. Afterwards there was a lunch at Gavnø Slot.

Mary was expecting her second child, Isabella.

Mary was wearing new pumps by Rasoulinia.

Among the guests were Nina Wedell-Wedellsborg, Rose Gad (also pregnant) and her husband Holger Foss.

At night Mary attended a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert with Frederik and friends.

Wedding of baron Otto Reedtz-Thott & Helle Zøfting

24 August 2002 at Frederiksborg castle church in Hillerød, Helle's home town.

Mary's gown was by Britt Sisseck.

  

Baron Otto Reedtz-Thott is a lifelong friend of Frederik's. His wife Helle Zøfting has become one of Mary's closest friends. Helle is a lawyer who now works fulltime in the direction of the family's home, Gavnø slot. Otto & Helle have 3 children: Louis, Holger and Eloise.
