A week after returning from her very first foreign state visit, accompanying the queen to Vietnam, crown princess Mary was performing a new public activity.
As patron, she was was present at a conference on violence in relationships held by the Mary Foundation at Den Sorte Diamant in Copenhagen.
She was welcomed by Brigitte Hagemann Snabe, Director of Mary Fonden. Caroline Heering acted as lady-in-waiting, while Tanja Doky was also present.
The crown prince and the crown princess attended the reception for the Naval Officers' Society's 150 years jubilee, at the Naval Hospital in Copenhagen.
Tanja Doky accompanied them, as Mary's lady-in-waiting.
At 11:00, crown princess Mary accepted a donation from the Danish Demining Group (part of the Swedish Lottery Group) on behalf of her patronage, Dansk Flygtningehjælp. The audience took place at Amalienborg, Christian VIIIs Palae.
Mary wore a new skirt by Alberta Ferretti.
In the afternoon, Mary attended the EliteForsk conference at New Carlsberg Glyptotek in Copenhagen where various researchers were awarded for their work.
One of the recipients, Milena Penkowa (in the middle) saw her prize later taken away from her because she committed fraud.
Mary's new brooch was by Yves Saint Laurent. She new pumps were Louboutins.
