WHO Regional Committee Gathering

As patron, crown princess Mary attended the opening of the 59th Regional Meeting of the World Health Organisation at the WHO building in Copenhagen.

Mary was wearing new earrings by Marianne Dulong.



In the evening, Mary also attended the reception hosted by the Danish Minister for Health Care, at Kronborg Castle.

Jude Law as Hamlet

Frederik & Mary were VIP guests at a performance of Shakepeare's "Hamlet" at Kronborg castle in Helsingør.


Mary was wearing new wedges by Christian Louboutin.



The play, in English, starred British actor Jude Law.


When the 3 hour play was finished, the crown prince couple went backstage to talk to the actors.

Danes Worldwide

It was officially back to work for Mary after 6 weeks of summer holidays. The crown princess attended the annual meeting of 'Danes Worldwide' at Kronborg Castle.


Mary wore a new Prada dress. 
She was accompanied by Tanja Doky who acted as lady-in-waiting.




Among the guests was Bent Fabricius-Bjerre who was awarded the prize 'Arets Verdensdansker'.

Dutch-Danish dinner for the Hans Christian Andersen Bicentenary

After having handed out  the MIA award during the day, pregnant crown princess Mary (her pregnancy hadn't been anounced yet) was a guest at the HC Andersen bicentenary gala dinner at Kronborg castle in the evening.




Other guests were prince Constantijn of Holland and his wife princess Laurentien, a HC Andersen ambassador. The evening was organized by the Dutch ambassador.


The dinner also marked 400 years of diplomatic relations between the Netherlands and Denmark.
