Dansk Svømmeunion Reception + Kronprinsparrets Priser 2009

At 14:30 crown princess Mary, as patron, attended a reception of the Danish Swimming Union at Copenhagen's Marriott Hotel. She was welcomed by swimmer Lotte Friis and got to meet the Danish National Team.

Mary wore a new Heartmade blouse.

Tanja Doky accompanied her as lady-in-waiting.

At night Mary and Frederik attended and the cultural award show that bears their name, this time at DR Concert Hall in Copenhagen.

The prize went to cello player Andreas Brantelid, while the Stjernedryspriser (Stardust Prizes) were for photographer Joakim Eskilden and to singer Nanna Øland.

Concert for Olympic Athletes

Along with queen Margrethe, prince Henrik, princess Benedikte and crown prince Frederik, Mary attended a concert at Fredensborg Slot in honour of the Danish olympic athletes who had taken part in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Mary wore a new bolero by Heartmade and a new cocktail dress by Prada.

Singer Anne Linnet performed at the concert.

Among the athletes was Frederik's cousin, princess Nathalie von Berleburg.

Swimmer Lotte Friis talked to the crown princess and later commented that Mary knows a lot about swimming.
