Frederik & Mary were VIP guests at a performance of Shakepeare's "Hamlet" at Kronborg castle in Helsingør.

Mary was wearing new wedges by Christian Louboutin.

The play, in English, starred British actor Jude Law.

When the 3 hour play was finished, the crown prince couple went backstage to talk to the actors.

Mary & Frederik went to visit Marie & Joachim's newborn son at Copenhagen's Rigshospital, one day after he was born.

Mary was wearing new wedges by Christian Louboutin and a new pair of Marianne Dulong earrings.

She'd brought a bouquet of "kronprinsesse Mary" tulips, the kind she had baptized a day earlier at Gavnø Slot.

Mary would become the little prince's godmother.

Danish Design Visit to USA: Day 3

At 9:00, the crown prince couple made a visit to Grand View University in Des Moines, which maintains close historical connections to Denmark.

Mary wore a new Prada suit.

Frederik & Mary participated in the celebration of the 125th anniversary of Dana College in Omaha, Nebraska where Frederik was given an honorary doctorate.

Mary' s new pumps were by Christian Louboutin.

Barely a year later this small university ceased to exist due to financial problems.

A visit to the 'Novozymes' bioethanol factory in Blair, Nebraska.

Dinner with business people and Danish-American representatives in Omaha on the occasion of Dana College's 125 years' jubilee.

Mary wore a new gold and diamond 'Capella' ring by Marianne Dulong.

Donation for Refugee Council & EliteForsk Conference 2009

At 11:00, crown princess Mary accepted a donation from the Danish Demining Group (part of the Swedish Lottery Group) on behalf of her patronage, Dansk Flygtningehjælp. The audience took place at Amalienborg, Christian VIIIs Palae.

Mary wore a new skirt by Alberta Ferretti.

In the afternoon, Mary attended the EliteForsk conference at New Carlsberg Glyptotek in Copenhagen where various researchers were awarded for their work.

One of the recipients, Milena Penkowa (in the middle) saw her prize later taken away from her because she committed fraud.

Mary's new brooch was by Yves Saint Laurent. She new pumps were Louboutins.

DR's Koncerthus + Maria Montell's Birthday

Crown prince Frederik & crown princess Mary joined queen Margrethe, prince Henrik, prince Joachim & princess Marie and princess Benedikte at the official opening of Dansk Radio's new Concert House in Copenhagen. The show was broadcast live on Danish TV.

Per Thornit & his wife, Ulla were also present.

Mary wore new pumps by Christian Louboutin.

During his performance, Lars H.U.G. sang the song 'Mon de kan reparere dig'. Frederik used some of the lines of this song in his wedding speech to Mary: gennem tusind verdener venter vægtløs kærlighed ...

Lene Balleby sat on the first row with Mary & Frederik.

Mary wore new diamond earrings by Marianne Dulong. They have interchangeable pendants.

After this evening filled with music, Mary & Frederik went on to Maria Montell's 40th birthday bash. Mary and Frederik showed up at Skovshoved Sailing Club at around 23:00 where Maria's 90 guests were present. They stayed untill 1:30.

About 10 years earlier, Frederik & Maria were in a two year relationship. 

Visit to Thailand: Day 3

The morning was spent visiting a medical unit and a school to focus on the local diabetes prevention and relief.

At noon a visit to the Wat Hong Pathumawas temple was on the program for Mary.

Mary wore a new Heartmade dress, that was later also seen on Carina Axelsson. She was also wearing a new pearl bracelet by Marianne Dulong.

At 18:00 the Danish embassy hosted a charity dinner in support of diabetes treatment in Thailand. Princess Soamsawali and princess Bajrakitiyabha represented the Thai royal family.

Mary wore a new Prada gown.

Mary's new pumps were by Christian Louboutin.
