First New Year's Court of 2010

At 19:00 queen Margrethe hosted the traditional first Nytårskur & taffel for the Danish government at Amalienborg Slot in Copenhagen. She was assisted by prince Henrik, the crown prince couple, prince Joachim & princess Marie.
Mary wore a new gown by Jesper Høvring.
She also wore a new set of diamond "Love Bands" rings by Ole Lynggaard.
Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen.
Environment Minister Lykke Friis and Minister for Development Cooperation, Ulla Tørnæs.
Economy Minister Lene Espersen.

COP15: Nutcracker

From 7 to 18 of December 2009 the United Nation's Climate Change Conference (COP15) took place in Copenhagen. As patron of the Climate Consortium Denmark, crown prince Frederik was involved in many of the activities. Crown princess Mary also attended a number of activities.
At 20:00 queen Margrethe II, prince Henrik, crown prince Frederik & crown princess Mary, prince Joachim & princess Marie and princess Benedikte were present at Det Kongelige Teater for the gala ballet "The Nutcracker" offered to the high level participants of the climate conference.

Among the guests were Danish politicians, such as the Minister for the environment Troels Lund Poulsen and his girlfriend, PM Sophie Løhde.
And Minister for climate, Lykke Friis.

COP15: Reception for Mayors
From 7 to 18 of December 2009 the United Nation's Climate Change Conference (COP15) took place in Copenhagen. As patron of the Climate Consortium Denmark, crown prince Frederik was involved in many of the activities. Crown princess Mary also attended a number of activities.

At 17:00 the crown prince couple hosted a reception for a little over 200 mayors and business leaders at Amalienborg, Christian VIII's palæ.
Mary's father John Donaldson, although no mayor or business man, was also among the guests.
With Sydney's mayor, Clover Moore.
With the Danish minister for climate, Lykke Friis, who used to be one of Frederik's classmates.
