Swedish Royal Wedding: Rehearsal & Private Gala

The Danish royals spent 5 days in Stockholm, Sweden to celebrate the wedding of the Swedish crown princess Victoria to Daniel Westling. Mary & Frederik participated in all of the festivities and their son Christian (3,5) was one of Victoria's pageboys. Mary was in the first stage of her third pregnancy, expecting twins. The news hadn't been made public yet.

Crown princess Mary and her son Christian arrived at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm, Sweden. They'd taken a plane from Copenhagen to Stockholm in the morning.





Frederik, who had an official activity in DK, would arrive later that day.

Other royals were also staying at the Grand Hotel.





In the afternoon, Mary & Christian were taken to the cathedral for a wedding day rehearsal, along with the bride, crown princess Victoria, and her parents. The other pageboys & bridesmaids and their parents were also present. Among them princess Maxima of the Netherlands & princess Mette-Marit of Norway with their daughters Amalia & Ingrid Alexandra.









In the evening there was a gala dinner at Drottningholm Palace, offered by the king & queen of Sweden, for the engaged couple's closest family and friends.




Mary wore a new gown by Malene Birger.


She wore her diamond "Winter frost" earrings by Ole Lynggaard paired with new pendants, and a new "Winter frost" diamond cuff.


Prince Philippe & princess Mathilde of Belgium with prince Willem-Alexander & princess Maxima of the Netherlands.



Prince Nikolaos of Greece & his fiancée, Tatiana Blatnik.


Crown prince Haakon & princess Mette-Marit of Norway, princess Märtha Louise of Norway & Ari Behn.






After the dinner a dance went on untill the early hours.
In the course of the evening Frederik also arrived in Stockholm and joined Mary & the others at the party.

Mary Fonden: Anti-Bullying Visit at a Day Care

As head of the Mary Foundation, crown princess Mary visited Anna Wulffs Børnehave in Copenhagen, one of the many child care centres that used the 'Fri for Mobberi' method.




She was joined by the founder of the Australian Alannah & Madeline Foundation where the method stems from.




Caroline Heering acted as lady-in-waiting.



Mary wore a new waistcoat by Ralph Lauren and a new headband by JEWLSCPH.




Mary was in the first stage of her third pregnancy, expecting twins. The news hadn't been anounced yet.
