Isabella's Playhouse

20 May 2008

As a belated christening gift, princess Isabella received a luxury playhouse from the city of Aarhus.

It was delivered to the gardens of Kancellihuset by Aarhus mayor Nikolai Wammen. The house was placed a few metres from a hedge row surrounding the private garden behind Kancellihuset, beneath a large beech tree.

The house is a scaled copy of Marselisborg Slot. It's 1,85 meters high, 3,8 meters large and 1,7 meters deep. The house weighs 500 kilos and cost a rough € 22.000 to fabricate.

This was a private event. Steen Brogaard took pictures that were passed on to the press.
