They were guests of Frederik's friend Peter Warnøe and his (then) girlfriend Julia Tholstrup.
Peter Warnøe and Frederik have known each other for years. They were introduced to each other by Peter's mother, Anne Fabricius-Bjerre. Warnøe is an IT billionair who gave Mary a job at the HR department of his company Navision, when she first moved to Copenhagen in 2002. From his marriage to jewellery designer Marlene Juhl-Jørgensen Peter Warnøe has two daughters: Barbara and Bjørk. Peter's chalet in Verbier has often been used by Frederik, Mary and their friends.
Peter and his girlfriend Julia Tholstrup broke up in 2008. Julia and her two daughters moved back to Switzerland. Julia is a former model, ex girlfriend of Dodi Al Fayed and heiress of the Tholstrup Cheese family.
