Visit to the Cardiology Ward + Expo "Hjernen"

As patron, crown princess Mary made a visit to the Cardiology Ward of the Rigshospital in Copenhagen. She was informed about new therapeutic methods in heart surgery and met patients.

At 16:00 the crown princess opened the exhibition "The Brain" at the Eperimentarium in Hellerup.

Tanja Doky was lady-in-waiting at both activities.

Journalist Anna Johannesen asked Mary what she does to keep her brain fit.
Mary answered: "I read a lot, I rest, I excersize, I eat healthy and then I do sodoku. So that's good. And then I've learned that I am apparantly in the process of building up a (neural) network in my brain by learning the Danish language".

Ved Verdens Ende

The crown prince couple attended the charity gala premiere of the Danish film "Ved Verdens Ende" at Imperial Biograf in Copenhagen.

As patron of the Mary Foundation, Mary received a cheque with benefits from the premiere, destined to support the anti-bullying campaign Fri for Mobberi.

Among the VIP guests were Frederik's former girlfriend Maria Montell (her husband, Tomas Villum Jensen directed the film), actor Nikolaj Costner-Waldau and actress & close friend of Mary's Ellen Hillingsø.

Mary carried a new Louis Vuitton clutch.

Sporløs

As patron, crown princess Mary attended the premiere of the documentary "Sporløs" about Geelsgård Special Needs School in Virum.

Mary arrived at Virum Hallen at 11:00 accompanied by her lady-in-waiting, Tanja Doky.

Mary was wearing a new pair of earrings from JEWLSCPH.

I Declare Opened: Cancer Counselling Centre

As patron, crown princess Mary opened Kræftens Bekæmpelse's new Counselling Centre in Aarhus. Tanja Doky was with her as her lady-in-waiting.

Dansk Svømmeunion Reception + Kronprinsparrets Priser 2009

At 14:30 crown princess Mary, as patron, attended a reception of the Danish Swimming Union at Copenhagen's Marriott Hotel. She was welcomed by swimmer Lotte Friis and got to meet the Danish National Team.

Mary wore a new Heartmade blouse.

Tanja Doky accompanied her as lady-in-waiting.

At night Mary and Frederik attended and the cultural award show that bears their name, this time at DR Concert Hall in Copenhagen.

The prize went to cello player Andreas Brantelid, while the Stjernedryspriser (Stardust Prizes) were for photographer Joakim Eskilden and to singer Nanna Øland.
