Christianborg's Renovated Stables + Concert for Queen Ingrid

At 14:30 the crown prince couple, queen Margrethe II and princess Benedikte of Denmark enjoyed a carriage ride for the official opening of the renovated royal stables belonging to Christiansborg Slot.







Caroline Heering acted as lady-in-waiting.



Mary wore a new Marni dress.



In the evening the crown princess got restyled to attend a concert and presentation of Queen Ingrid's Honour Grant at Tivoli's Concert Hall.

At 19:30 the royals arrived: Frederik & Mary, princess Benedikte, queen Anne Marie, prince Henrik and queen Margrethe II.

Government Banquet for Vietnamese PM

At 19:00 crown prince Frederik and crown princess Mary participated in the Government Banquet for Vietnamese prime minister Nguyen Tan Dung at Christiansborg Slot, as part of a Vietnamese state visit to Denmark.

A month later, the queen, prince Henrik and the crown prince couple would pay a state visit to Vietnam.


Mary wore a new dress by Diane von Furstenberg.

WHO Reception

Another activity for the 59th WHO Regional Committee meeting: at 20:00 a reception was held at the Copenhagen Opera House. As patron of this WHO region, crown princess Mary was present.

Caroline Heering acted as Mary's lady-in-waiting.






Mary wore a new dress by Miu Miu.

WHO Regional Committee Gathering

As patron, crown princess Mary attended the opening of the 59th Regional Meeting of the World Health Organisation at the WHO building in Copenhagen.

Mary was wearing new earrings by Marianne Dulong.



In the evening, Mary also attended the reception hosted by the Danish Minister for Health Care, at Kronborg Castle.

Landsmøde for Unge Kræftramte + De Vilde Svaner

As patron of Kræftens Bekæmpelse, crown princess Mary opened the National Convention for Young Cancer Patients in Svendborg.



The convention was a first initiative to establish networks for young people suffering from cancer, in order for them to share experiences and thoughts and get support from others in a similar situation.


Tanja Doky accompanied Mary as lady-in-waiting.






At night, crown prince Frederik & crown princess Mary joined queen Margrethe II and her sister queen Anne Marie of Greece at the gala premiere of 'The Wild Swans' at Imperial Biografen in Copenhagen.





Queen Margrethe had designed sets and costumes for this film adaptation of HC Andersen's fairy tale. She also made a cameo in the film.


Mary wore new earrings by Amrita Singh.
