COP15: Fashion Summit & Dinner

From 7 to 18 of December 2009 the United Nation's Climate Change Conference (COP15) took place in Copenhagen. As patron of the Climate Consortium Denmark, crown prince Frederik was involved in many of the activities. Crown princess Mary also attended a number of activities.

As patron of the Copenhagen International Fashion Fair, crown princess Mary attended the Scandinavian "Fashion Summit" that was held at the Opera in Copenhagen. The summit naturally focused on sustainable fashion as it was organized for COP15.


Mary arrived at 16:40. She wore new pumps by Dolce & Gabbana.










In the evening, at 20:00, the crown princess also attended an official dinner at Copenhagen's town hall, for the guests at the Fashion Summit.


At both events Mary was accompanied by her lady-in-waiting, Tanja Doky and by the Director of the Danish Fashion Institute, Eva Kruse.

The prince of Wales's 60th birthday party

Crown prince Frederik and crown princess Mary were among the royal guests invited for a private celebration of prince Charles's 60th birthday in London.

They stayed at the Claridge Hotel.

Before the party, Mary made a visit to Frederik's cousin Pavlos of Greece and his wife, Marie Chantal Miller at their London residence. So did Willem-Alexander & Maxima of the Netherlands.
Here they are seen arriving. Mary is wearing a new Prada coat and carrying her new Hermes Birkin bag:


And leaving for Buckingham Palace:




The royal guests attended a private concert and reception at Buckingham Palace, hosted by queen Elizabeth II and the duke of Edinburgh.









Mary wore new diamond earrings by Ole Lynggaard.
