For more than a week Queen Margrethe II's upcoming 70th birthday was celebrated with a large number of festive events in Denmark, culminating in a various galas. Mary was at the very start of her third pregnancy, expecting twins. The news hadn't been made public yet.
9 April 2010
At 15:00 the crown prince couple joined queen Margrethe & prince Henrik for the opening of another exhibition, this time at Frederiksborg Slot in Hillerød. "Dronning af Danmark" portrayed the official and private life of the queen and her place in Danish history.
Around this time Mary's third pregnancy started. At this stage it was still very private, and the couple possibly wasn't aware yet they would be having twins.

F & M in Russia: reburial of empress Maria Feodorovna
28 September 2006
Crown prince Frederik and crown princess Mary represented Denmark at the reburial of their ancester in Saint-Petersburg, Russia.
First a Russian orthodox ceremony took place at Saint Isaac's Cathedral.
The crown prince couple was accompanied by Caroline Heering, Mary's lady-in-waiting.
The actual reburial was held afterwards at Saint Peter and Saint Paul's Cathedral. Frederik and Mary cast Danish soil on Maria Feodorvna's coffin. Queen Margrethe had suggested to use soil from Dagmar's rose garden at her home in Hvidøre, where she'd spent the last years of her life. She had tended to the garden herself.
Afterwards they attended a reception.
Mary wore new pumps by Pedro Garcia.
Mary was in the first stage of her pregnancy with Isabella. The news hadn't been made public yet, but reporters had remarked Mary felt unwell during the ceremony. In the video it's also clear she had to lean on Frederik's arm.

Mass for empress Maria Feodorovna
23 September 2006
The day after her visit to Prague crown princess Mary joined the other Danish royals for a remembrance service for empress Maria Feodorvna at Roskilde cathedral - the burial church of the Danish Royal House since the 14th century.
Mary's lady-in-waiting, Caroline Heering was also present (see video).
Danish princess Dagmar married Russian tzar Alexander III. She took on the new Russian name of "Maria Feodorvna". The empress was buried in Denmark when she died in 1928. Because of the Revolution she had fled Russia years earlier. In 2006 her corpse was finally transferred to Russia to be buried with her husband and children - as she had wished for.
The service and departure of the coffin was broadcast live on Danish TV.
The remains were accompanied by the horse guards and driven to Langelinie. The Danish royals watched the procession from the balcony of Amalienborg.
The royals the watched and waved as the coffin and the Romanov family members who accompanied it took off on board the Danish vessel Esbern Snare.
Frederik and Mary would also be present in Russia a few days later, for the actual reburial.
