20 Years of Children's Rights: Day 2

The royals attended a seminar on the 20th anniversary of the UN's Declaraton of Children's Rights in Stockholm.

Mary was wearing the jacket of a new Prada suit.

Once the seminar was over, Victoria took Mary shopping in Stockholm. They were joined by Mary's lady-in-waiting Caroline Heering. The Swedish press speculated that Mary would certainly be party of Victoria's hen night which was due to take place in Verbier, Switzerland in the spring of 2010.

Julemærket 2009

As patron, crown princess Mary was present at the presentation of the Christmas Seal of 2009. The profits from the sale of this stamp benefit the Julemærkehjemmer where obese children learn a new way of eating and living.

The event took place at Grøften Restaurant in Tivoli, Copenhagen.

Mary wore new earrings by Marianne Dulong, a new jacket by Isabel Marant and she carried a new Bottega Veneta clutch.

Christmas Eve 2007

Frederik, Mary and the children were staying at Marselisborg castle with the other Danish royals for Christmas. They arrived at noon on the 23rd of December.

In the afternoon Frederik, Mary and Christian went to the Christmas church service in Aarhus.

They were joined by queen Margrethe & prince Henrik and by prince Joachim & his fiancée, Marie Cavallier.

After mass they had dinner at Marselisborg castle with the reverend Peter Parkov, an old friend of the queen and prince consort.

Legends Live

Frederik and Mary watched the Legends Live Tennis Tournament at KB Hallen in Frederiksberg. They watched Bjørn Borg and John McEnroe play.

They were accompanied by Christian & Elisabeth Buchwald and their 3 children. 

They all had a snack and a drink before leaving.

Mary carried a new Prada handbag.

Fredensborg Fakkeltog

Crown prince Frederik and crown princess Mary joined queen Margrethe to welcome the participants in the torchlight procession that marks the return of the Danish queen to her summer residence, Fredensborg palace.

Mary would give birth to her second child 9 days later.

Visit to Gellerup

At 7,5 months into her second pregnancy, crown princess Mary made a visit to Gellerup, a disadvantaged part of Aarhus with a predominant immigrant population.

She was accompanied by her lady-in-waiting, Caroline Heering.

Mary was shown various community projects around Gellerup.

The visit lasted from 11:00 untill 15:00 o'clock and included a lunch with guests.

Charity Concert

17 February 2007

Crown prince Frederik & his 7 month pregnant wife Mary assisted at a charity concert organized by public TV channel DR1 to raise money for HIV-AIDS projects. The fundraiser was broadcast live from Tivoli.

Mary wore a new dress by Diane von Fürstenberg.
