A Bright Day in London

Crown princess Mary and her lady-in-waiting, Tanja Doky, made an official one day visit to London to attend 3 events.

First, Mary was a guest of honour at lunch of the business seminar "Building Schools for the Future", organized by Danish architects, at the Danish ambassador's residence on Sloane Street.



Mary wore a new Hugo Boss jacket.






After changing into a new Hugo Boss dress, paired with a new Prada purse and new Prada pumps, Mary returned to the Danish embassy for the appointment of the British participants in the international COP15 conference "Bright Green Youth", which was to take place 2 months later in Denmark.







At 19:30, Mary attended the official opening of Per Kirkeby's restrospective exhibition at Tate Modern.

Crown prince Frederik and crown princess Mary visited the National History Museum in Sofia.



Afterwards they were shown the ancient Thracian city of Plovdiv.

F & M in Russia: Expo + reception

Crown prince Frederik and crown princess Mary made a two day visit to Russia, to attend the official reburial of Danish princess Dagmar - who became empress Maria Feodorovna of Russia through marriage. This was only five days after Mary's two day visit to the Czech Republic.

On the first day the couple and Foreign Secretary Per Stig Møller opened an exhibition at the Hermitage museum, dedicated to the 19th century Danish court painter Lauritz Tuxen.


Mary was wearing a new suit by Elise Gug.





At night there was a reception aboard the ship Ebsen Snare for those attending the reburial.

 


Mary was in the first stage of her pregnancy with Isabella. The news hadn't been made public yet.

Luxembourg silver wedding: day 2

1 July 2006

At 11:00 the royal guests joined grand duke Henri and grand duchess Maria Teresa for the opening of the new Museum for Modern Art Mudam.

Mary wore a new cardigan by Prada and a new skirt by Hugo Boss.



At noon there was a picknick.

At night there was a private dinner and ball at Château Berg, the grand dukes' home.




Mary wore a new gown by Strenesse.



The end of the silver wedding festivities meant the start of Fred and Mary's 6 week summer holiday.
