Fifteenth patronage: Dansk Golf Union

Accompanied by her lady-in-waiting - countess Victoria Bernstorff-Gyldensteen - pregnant Mary handed out the trophee at the Masters Golf Tournament at the Kokkendal Golf Club in Hørsholm.

The crown princess had accepted the patronage of the Danish Golf Union. Ever since her working days in Australia she'd been a golfer herself.

Holidays in France

Frederik & his pregnant wife Mary spent a part of their summer holidays in France, at the castle of Cayx, with friends.

Mary was spotted at the market of Cahors.

The couple and their friends also went out to dinner in Cahors. Mary probably wasn't expecting any photographers, or she would have put on a bra...

Mary wore new sandals by Miu Miu.

Holidays in Blokhus

Before leaving for France, Frederik & pregnant Mary spent some time with friends on the Danish coast, in Blokhus.

At a horse show in Sweden + new portrait

Pregnant Mary was spotted at the Falsterbo horse show in Sweden.

Mary a new Hermès 'enamel cuff' bracelet.

This was the start of Fred & Mary's summer holidays. They spent 4 weeks in Sweden, France, on the Danish coast and at Graasten. Afterwards Mary carried on performing duties until the birth of Christian, so it's safe to say her first pregnancy was a very easy one.

The same day, Mary's first official portrait was revealed in Australia. It's painted by Jiawei Shen, who worked on it during Federik & Mary's Australian tour (see: http://maryfromthestart.blogspot.be/2014/02/australia-tour-day-5.html).

Nowadays it can be seen at the National Portrait Gallery of Canberra, Australia.
