Visit to Greenland: Day 3

At 8:30 the queen, prince Henrik and the crown prince couple made a walkabout through Nuuk.
At 9:00 the royals attended a church service at Nuuk's Our Saviour's Church.
At 10:10 the queen and her family arrived at 'Landstinget' - Greenland's Parliament, where the law on the Greenland Home Rule was handed over by queen Margrethe to the National assembly chairman.
Also present: Iceland's president Olafur Ragner Grimsson and his wife, Dorrit Moussaieff.
At 12:30 lunch was served at Hans Egede's House.
At 1:55 the Danish roayls attended the presentation of the Cultural Award.
At 18:50 the visit to Greenland's last activity took place: a gala banquet in Katuaq.
Mary wore a new headband by JEWLSCPH. Her brown gown, which she had previously worn to a new year's court, had been slightly altered at the top, taking of the beading.

Visit to Greenland: Day 2

At 10:15 Mary visited the Nuuk Crisis Centre.
Crown prince Frederik also arrived in Greenland, to participate with Mary in the activities surrounding the beginning of Greenland's self rule.
Apart from their obvious love for the Greenlandic region, the well loved Danish royal family is politically also an "easy link" between Greenland and the mainland, that doesn't want to miss out on Greenland's economic value.
At 13:20 Frederik & Mary visited Mælkebøtten.
At 18:00 the crown prince couple visited children's homes in Qoornoq.
At 10:15 Mary visited the Nuuk Crisis Centre.

Visit to Greenland: Day 1

Crown princess Mary made her first semi solo visit to Greenland on this 4 day official visit which centred around the Mary Foundation and Greenland's transition to self government.
Mary was accompanied by her private secretary and Mary Fonden liaison, Caroline Heering - who's also one of her best friends.

Mary wore a new coat by Hugo Boss and carried a new Prada handbag.
After a change of costume, Mary and her delegation met with the Department for Families & the Department for Culture, Education, Research and Church in Nuuk.
At night, Mary and her foundation's staff were offered a dinner at the invitation of Mayor Asii Chemnitz Narup at Hotel Hans Egede.

A Bright Day in London

Crown princess Mary and her lady-in-waiting, Tanja Doky, made an official one day visit to London to attend 3 events.
First, Mary was a guest of honour at lunch of the business seminar "Building Schools for the Future", organized by Danish architects, at the Danish ambassador's residence on Sloane Street.
Mary wore a new Hugo Boss jacket.
After changing into a new Hugo Boss dress, paired with a new Prada purse and new Prada pumps, Mary returned to the Danish embassy for the appointment of the British participants in the international COP15 conference "Bright Green Youth", which was to take place 2 months later in Denmark.
At 19:30, Mary attended the official opening of Per Kirkeby's restrospective exhibition at Tate Modern.
