WHO Regional Committee Gathering

As patron, crown princess Mary attended the opening of the 59th Regional Meeting of the World Health Organisation at the WHO building in Copenhagen.

Mary was wearing new earrings by Marianne Dulong.



In the evening, Mary also attended the reception hosted by the Danish Minister for Health Care, at Kronborg Castle.

As patron of Kræftens Bekæmpelse, crown princess Mary opened the National Convention for Young Cancer Patients in Svendborg.



The convention was a first initiative to establish networks for young people suffering from cancer, in order for them to share experiences and thoughts and get support from others in a similar situation.


Tanja Doky accompanied Mary as lady-in-waiting.






At night, crown prince Frederik & crown princess Mary joined queen Margrethe II and her sister queen Anne Marie of Greece at the gala premiere of 'The Wild Swans' at Imperial Biografen in Copenhagen.





Queen Margrethe had designed sets and costumes for this film adaptation of HC Andersen's fairy tale. She also made a cameo in the film.


Mary wore new earrings by Amrita Singh.

Nyreforeningen: Cirkus Dannebrog

As patron of Nyreforeningen, the Danish Kidney Association, crown princess Mary went to see their benefit performance by Cirkus Dannebrog in Copenhagen. She'd brought prince Christian (nearly 4) along. Mother and son were accompanied by lady-in-waiting Tanja Doky.









After the performance the royal guests were given a tour backstage where Christian got to ride a poney and feed an elephant.

Nej til mobning - Ja til trivsel

As patron of the Mary Foundation, crown princess Mary opened the anti-bullying conference "No to bullying, Yes to the welfare" at DGI city Copenhagen. The conference was organized by Mary Fonden & Save the Children.




Caroline Heering acted as lady-in-waiting.





The conference lasted all day and combined lectures, testimonies and workshops. There was also a lecture by Mary's friend, Ellen Hillingsø.




Mary wore a new dress by Malene Birger.
