After a week of autumn holidays, crown princess Mary received a cheque on behalf of her patronage Hjerneskadeforeningen at Copenhagen's Rigshospital. Tanja Doky accompanied Mary as lady-in-waiting.

Then she was driven directly to Cirkusbygningen in Copenhagen where she handed out the Integration Awards of 2009. For this activity it was Caroline Heering who acted as lady-in-waiting.

Private Visit to Tivoli

Mary was spotted on an outing to Tivoli in Copenhagen with her two children Christian (4) and Isabella (2,5) during the Danish autumn holidays.

They were accompanied by Mary's Australian friend Nadine Johnston who is one of Isabella's godmothers.

Frederik was in Australia for a private sports event.

The crown princess was very protective and did not let the other Tivoligarden visitors close to her children. With only a short stop for hot chocolate in park café Mamma Mokka the royals spent almost 3 hours in the amusement park where Mary and her company enjoyed the priviledge of not having to queue on a very busy day.

The photos were taken by other visitors, who could sell them to Danish press.

World Mental Health Day

As patron of PsykiatriFonden, crown princess Mary attended a classical concert at Copenhagen's DR Concert Hall. The Nordic String Quartet played Hayden's string quartet, opus 77.

She arrived at 20:00 and wore a new Gucci dress.

In September 2014 this dress was sold for Mary at Haberdash in Copenhagen.

IOC Congress: Final Reception

At 16:00 the crown prince couple attended the concluding reception of the IOC Congress at Tivoli, accompanied by Mary's lady-in-waiting Tanja Doky.

Earlier that day Frederik's 3 year networking efforts to become an IOC member had paid off when he was officially elected in a ceremony at Bella Center with 77 votes against 9. The crown prince’s candidature to a politicized organisation with a dubious reputation had been the subject of much criticism and debate in the Danish media.

Fri for Mobberi Conference

As patron, crown princess Mary attended a Free from Bullying conference organized by Mary Fonden at the Gentofte city hall.

She arrived at 9:00 with her lady-in-waiting, Caroline Heering.

Mary was wearing a new pair of Marianne Dulong diamond and pearl earrings and her Marianne Dulong champagne brown diamond ring.

Opening of Parliament 2009

At 12:00 the royal family arrived at Christiansborg Slot for the annual solemn opening of Folketinget, Danish Parliament.
